Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new method for estimation of parameters of a nonlinear system by low-pass filtered M-sequence. We applied the proposed method to a nonlinear vibratory system which consists of a mass, a damper and linear and nonlinear spring. From the results of the experiment, it is shown that the proposed method is effective in representing nonlinear property of the system.
