Abstract :
This paper provides information on activities related to international standards of industrial automation. It includes the organizational structure of international standardization, an introduction of JISC, and the correspondence with ISO/TC184 and IEC/TC65 in Japan. The paper also delivers information on JISC´S support for international standardization and remarks on the anticipated activities by academic organizations.
