Abstract :
EEG signals are not the direct access to the level of thought and thought related actions but it represents shadow of that and hence to some extent thought related patterns can be inferred and used for controlling action. The useful information contained in EEG signal is in the form of EEG rhythm. Rhythmic analysis of EEG signal is very important for extraction of good features for classification of movement imagery data. This paper proposed the feature which is sum of power spectral density of left hemisphere channel (C3) as well as right hemisphere channel (C4) for movement imagery trials.
