  • Abstract
The adaptive scan technique using wide-band noise modulation is applied for the simulation of rainfall observation for spaceborne rain radar in a no-rain area. The accuracy of this method is discussed based on a simulation using rainfall data observed by TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) Precipitation Radar (PR).
