  • Abstract
In order to ensure the satisfactory winding and forming of roving and the stability of tension in the roving during spinning, aiming to the complexity of the mechanical drive system of roving frame, this paper proposes an intelligent control system for roving frame. Under the control of single-chip microcomputer, the motions of flyer, front roller and back roller, bobbins and rails of the roving frame are regulated by the converter-driven motor. Various technological parameters of the roving frame are conveniently set up and adjusted according to the varieties and traits of yarns. The main working parameters of roving frame, such as twist, draft multiple, roving tension, rotary speed, can be real-time displayed on the screen of the single-chip microcomputer, and thus the monitoring and controlling of the main parameters of roving frame are achieved. The system is easy for control and highly automatic, so the quality of roving is assured.
