Abstract :
Since several motors are widely used to drive the same equipment in industry, speed synchronization and torque equilibrium are required. This paper studies master-slave control system which applies to tong crane is based on neural network. Under the condition of double closed loop, neural network PID is used to replace traditional PID in current loop. It resolves the frequent breakdowns of machine shaft due to speed non-synchronization and torque disequilibrium, and reduces the mechanical wear and tears and faults. The results show that neural network PID presents good controlling effect.
