            Abstract : 
In this paper we provide the basic formalism describing the evolution of quantum coherent states in arbitrary electro-optic modulators subject to RF modulation. We then use the (overcomplete) basis of coherent states to infer the evolution of single-photon quantum states as the simplest representatives of quantum states without classical limit.
