Abstract :
We propose a Fabry-Perot-based bimodal fiber laser by cascading up to four fiber-Bragg-gratings (FBG) inside a fiber loop cavity. The adjustment of the relative position between the FBGs enabled us to enhance the finesse of the optical peaks in the transmission spectrum and, consequently, to obtain narrower RF carriers, suitable for use in modern microwave photonic links.
