Abstract :
Resource allocation is an important topic in wireless networks with inappropriate resource allocation causing congestion and unfairness to users. In this paper, a novel QoS-aware scheme is proposed for resource allocation in wireless ad hoc networks based on virtual price. Moreover, an iterative algorithm is proposed to achieve the optimal rates for a set of multipath sessions, resulting in maximizing the aggregate utility for all sessions. The performance of simulation indicates that the proposed scheme can achieve the goal of optimal channel capacity sharing among multi-hop flows.
