Abstract :
The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is widely used in high speed wireless communication owing to its high utilization rate in frequency spectrum and its availability in anti-multipath, but exorbitant peak-to-average power ratio(PAR) is a big obstacle to utilize it. This paper presents two kinds of common techniques to reduce peak-to-average power ratio, compares their performance in several different modulation types, and puts forward a way of complementary clipping transform. Then a performance simulation of reducing PAR in QPSK is completed.
