Abstract
This research examines the determinants of knowledge sharing in university academic team utilizing an integrated model which posits that three sets of factors-knowledge-related, team member´ motivation and personality, team climate influence knowledge sharing. Data were collected from respondent academic team members using online questionnaire. The results of the analysis demonstrate that all three aspects have a significantly influence on intention to share knowledge in academic team, mediated by attitude toward and subjective norm about knowledge sharing, and provide support for 9 of the 12 hypotheses. These research results extend, augment, and apply prior research to a seldom-discussed new domain: academic team. Our research contributes to theory and practice in academic team by focusing on knowledge sharing as the crucial aspect and integrating theory developed in other knowledge sharing contexts.
