  • Abstract
    Research-based learning is an important way of education in college. It is necessary to acquire knowledge and information effectively, and a user-friendly learning support system could guarantee students\´ efficiency in research-based learning. This paper makes an investigation about students\´ demands of knowledge and information, and about their demands of learning support system in research-based learning on "mobile communication" course. The content of investigation include students\´ awareness of the knowledge and information\´s acquirement, affordable capacity of information consumption, demands on learning support system, and so on. Through the survey, we find that it is necessary to provide personalized learning support by exploring learners\´ characteristics fully so as to improve their efficiency in research-based learning. In addition, learning support system of mobile-phone-newspaper mode can further enhance learning support services in real time.
