            Abstract : 
The enlarging income differences in the past three decades in Chinese economy have attracted worldwide academic attention. This paper reviews the dynamics of theoretic research on skill premium and wage differences. Using a panel data of 1987-2006 in China, this paper explores the evolutions of skill premium. Finally, this paper comes up with some proposals on decreasing skill premium and wage differences.
