Abstract :
The abstract function model (AFM) is applied to all types of aircrafts and can be defined to a function instance. It is the core of the electronic fault diagnosis simulator which is used for training the airline maintenance men. AFM based on directed graph theory is presented, the structure of the ontology and the function library is put forward, and the research of AFM is performed. It is very important to research the common fault model that simulates a variety of aircraft types.
