Abstract :
The overlay multicast network (OMN) is emerging as a fundamental technique to solve the problems caused by IP multicast network when large scales of video stream are transmitted. In this paper, a matrix-coded immune algorithm is proposed to select multicast service nodes with the purpose of building a layered multicast tree of OMN for the reliable video transmission. The matrix-coded mechanism and immune algorithm with different crossover operators are analyzed. Finally, Results of theoretical analysis and simulation verify the validity and feasibility of proposed immune algorithm for selecting multicast service nodes of OMN.
