Abstract :
There are two common flow regulation methods for crude oil pipeline, regulating valve opening and frequency converter speed regulation. The basic principle of frequency converter speed regulation and the principle of frequency converter power-saving are mainly discussed. And the example analysis and calculation of frequency converter power-saving at oil pump station is done. The result shows that the effect of frequency converter power-saving is remarkable.
