Abstract :
The mechanical characteristics of deformable mirror (DM) supporting structure have great influence on the imaging quality of optical system in adaptive optics (AO) system. This paper discusses optimum design for a kind of DM supporting structure. The original resonance frequency and modes shape of the supporting structure are obtained by the FEA method and the dynamic theory. Then a group of optimization structure parameters are determined with the BP neural networks and genetic algorithm optimal methods. In the end, the random vibration analysis results show that the dynamic stiffness of the optimized DM supporting structure has been improved greatly.
