Abstract
An improved delay dual algorithm of Internet congestion control is presented, where the price function p(t) is introduced as a proportional term to determine the varying rate of its own. This modified algorithm can achieve desired performance mainly in that its stable range can be turned out to be greater than that of traditional delay dual algorithms. In addition, this new algorithm is more flexible in that the stable range can be regulated by choosing different system parameters. Finally its advantage is verified by both theoretical analyses and numerical simulations.
