Abstract
A new scheduling method is presented basing on priorities of events in order to schedule time resource of phased array radars for space observation and surveillance or missile alarming and tracking efficiently. In this method, the three parameters of priority, deadline, and transmission window of radar tasks are synthetically considered by using a simple queue mechanism, and especially, a dedicated queue is developed for imaging beams that should be transmitted at very regular intervals, and all of them are implemented by computer. Simulation experiments have been employed to analyze the performance of the method and algorithm. The results in a typical scenario confirm the validity of the method and algorithm, and real-time implementation in a digital computer is feasible.
