Abstract :
A new beamforming control method is presented to widen nulls of adaptive antenna array. The presented method utilizes the space-time averaging techniques and the rotation techniques of the steering vectors to improve the beamforming control performances. This proposed method can provide increased robustness against the mismatch problem as well as control over the sidelobe level. In addition, the proposed method can widen the width of nulls for interference signal sources. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the performance achievable.
