  • Abstract
    In this paper, the micro-Doppler signature of the cone-shaped target with precession is researched. The micro-motion model of precession is set up first, and then a micro-Doppler model is developed based on the proposed concept micro-motion matrix, by which the theoretical formula of micro-Doppler signature of precession is derived. The simulated micro-Doppler signature of precession is identical to the calculated by the formula, and meanwhile they are both consistent with the measured result in microwave chamber, which verifies the micro-motion and micro-Doppler models of precession are both valid.
