  • Abstract
Analysis of the conformal bow-tie antenna scattering by using the hybrid FE-BI method is presented in this paper. Firstly, the formulas of the hybrid FE-BI method for simulating electromagnetic scattering from general structures are described. Then, the scattering from a bow-tie antenna conformed on a cylindrical surface is simulated. Simulation results show that cylindrical conformal antenna leads to a lower radar cross section than the planar one does, and different curving direction and different curvature also result in different radar cross section.
