Abstract :
A new algorithm for ISAR imaging of maneuvering targets is presented in this paper. The algorithm is based on the assumption that the echo signal of each scatterer point is a linear frequency modulated (LFM) signal, and the cubic phase (CP) function is applied to detect and estimate the parameters of the LFM signal. The quality of the ISAR images is improved greatly. The results of real data demonstrate the validity of the method proposed.
