Abstract :
Format-management in highway projects is a brand new concept and concrete implementation of elaborative management theory, which holds significance for improving domestic construction management. This paper reveals the connotation and characteristics of format-management, constructs the theory system of format-management, and expounds the principles, requirements and basis of format design in format-management. The main contents of highway project format-management contain owner business format-management, supervision business format-management and construction business format-management. The successful use of format-management in Huangpu bridge above Zhujiang River in Guangzhou City should be well worth attention and study by the managers of highway projects.
