  • Abstract
SQLTutor is an intelligent teaching system for Structured Query Language. Not only can it organize the teaching program through the online experiment, but it also integrates the learning resource, case demonstration, online discussion, and comprehensive test onto its experimental platform. Moreover, the greatest advantage of SQLTutor is that it can openly allow students to use different query languages for the same problem realization, which is very helpful to enhance the students´ ability to solve problems. The thesis analyzed the mechanism and characteristics of the experimental platform and presented the diagnosis technique of syntax mistake and logic error as well. Practice has proved that the SQLTutor system, by using the opening online experimental technique, can effectively improve the students´ academic performance.
