  • Abstract
    The performance test of eddy current retarder was important for product research. The relation of torsion, temperature, speed, excitation current were acquired through test-bed. The brake performance can be evaluated on this test-bed. It can give a all-ground evaluate to the eddy current retarder´s performance. The test system supplied effective data assist to the eddy current retarder for performance verification. To enhance portability system, modular design methods and data visualization technology were applied. Modular design is an effective method to meet the diversified demands. Modular design adapts to the various inspected products, simplifies the development of complicated system. Data visualization technology improves the test efficiency and its quality.
