Abstract
Based on the degree of construction concentration ratio and Eillison & Glaeser index, this thesis takes an empirical research about China´ s coal industry cluster from 2002 to 2006. Then a detailed study on the upstream and downstream was made. Empirical research shows that: China´ s coal industry has a high degree of construction concentration but the downstream part of the concentration of the downstream was significantly lower than that the upstream part. Finally, the elastic that the industry cluster impact on the economic growth was used to analyzes correlation between the coal industry and the economic growth. The results show that compared with the upper coal industry of coal industry downstream promotes economic growth even bigger.
