Competitiveness Evaluation on Chinese Computer Industry Listed Companies in 2008 with Entropy Method

The financial crisis is an ongoing crisis triggered by a dramatic rise in mortgage delinquencies and foreclosures in the world now, with major adverse consequences for listed companies around the globe. And computer industry enterprise in China must enhance their competitiveness force to increase market share. This paper constructs competitiveness evaluation index system of the listed companies in computer industry including five factors: profitability, ability to obtain cash, solvency, operation ability, development ability, and adopts evaluation method by entropy method to make an empirical analysis on the competitiveness with the 46 Chinese listed companies in computer industry.
