Abstract :
In view of the influence of the various factors on traffic safety for high-grade highways, a new traffic safety appraisal method based on fuzzy-matter-element model for high-grade highways is proposed in this paper. This method regards the high-grade highways as the matter elements, develops the model according to the relevant indicators and its corresponding fuzzy values. Through calculating Euclidean approach degree between the fuzzy matter-element and the standard fuzzy matter-element, adopting information entropy theory to determine the weight coefficients of each evaluation indicator, and in combination with the establishment of traffic safe evaluation grade, the author actualizes the comprehensive safe evaluation on the existing high-grade highways for Xinjiang province and selection of priority improvement scheme for high-grade highways.
