Abstract
Regional indigenous innovation capability (RIIC) is a systematic concept; It is one of the constitutional factors of regional disparity. However, It is not always linearly correlated to the invested resource quantity. This paper applies multi-level factor analysis and Theil´ s index to analyze China´s current gap of RIIC . Its distribution has gradient characteristics, and is similar to the economy distribution. At the same time, the disparity of inter-zone RIIC is larger than that of intra-zone .
