  • Abstract
Test sequencing is a binary identification problem wherein one needs to develop a minimal expected cost testing procedure to determine which one of a finite number of possible failure sources, if any, is present. directed towards the test sequencing problem in the sequential fault diagnosis for systems, the test sequencing problem is converted to searching the minimal complete test sequencing based on ant algorithm. In order to overcome the computational explosion the optimal test sequence is searched by setting up ant state transfer rule and feedback of the pheromones. The better performance and feasibility of the proposed method is demonstrated by experimental results and real-world models. The method is an effective solution for the test sequencing problem.
