Abstract :
In the last years voltage quality in the supply networks becomes more and more important for distribution network operators (DNO) as well as the European regulatory authorities (CEER). For this reasons the number of permanently installed power quality measurement devices is growing continuously. To ensure the necessary measurement accuracy (i.e. according to class A of EN 61000-4-30) a regular calibration of the measurement devices is required. If the calibration period (usually one or two years) has expired, the accuracy of a device should be verified. If this verification fails, the respective device has to be recalibrated. Actually the devices has to be send to the manufacturer for verification and calibration, which is time- and cost-intensive, especially in the case of a large number of permanently installed measurement devices.
