Abstract :
A new approach is introduced to facilitate the dealing with power components. The authors have been inspired this approach from the concept of effective or root mean square (RMS) value. This term has been defined for convenience in representing a periodic waveform successfully. By this new approach we can analytically introduce formulas that determine precisely proper instantaneous power components.
