Abstract :
This paper mainly discusses the control strategy for an profit-oriented ecosystem which is described by multi-dimensional Lotka-Volterra model. The though comes from the concept of impulsive control which can reach the same effect with continuous control strategy but has much more advantages while considering the feasibility factors. The difference with other impulsive control strategies is that we try to seek a balance point among the economical and environmental effects and the applicability of the strategy by taking the cost of harvesting into consideration. Moreover, the proposed control strategy can obtain the optimum time interval which is often neglected in other papers. The numerical simulation shows that the control strategy can refine an autonomous system which is harmful for the surrounding environment to a system that is both economically interesting and environmentally friendly. Meanwhile, the control strategy is easy to be applied and popularized.
