Abstract :
100G emerges as a key technology for the next generation transport network. We have studied the performance of three different 100G modulation formats: DQPSK, CP-QPSK, and DC-CP-QPSK, in Verizon´s fiber networks. The conclusion is the 100G technology is getting mature quickly and its deployment is expected in a few years.
