  • Abstract
    By employing circular air holes in the fiber cladding area and elliptical air holes in the fiber core area, an absolutely single polarization photonic crystal fiber based on a structure of sub-wavelength hole pitch, which is with a single polarization operation region from 1300 nm to 1600 nm, is proposed.
