Abstract :
Broadband integrated Er-Yb doped phosphate glass waveguide amplifier based on cascaded long-period waveguide grating is proposed. The effect of transmittance spectrum of the proposed cascaded long-period waveguide grating on flattening gain is discussed. The transmission function of the cascaded long-period waveguide grating is obtained.
