  • Abstract
A three-dimensional arc model has been developed for a twin-torch plasma in Argon that is used for the production of nano-powders. The governing equations are solved in three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate grid system with appropriate boundary conditions. The coupling of the two jets is studied in detail and predicted arc voltage at different current (300A -900A) compared with measurements.
