Abstract
Differential capacitive sensors are widely used in industry to measure various parameters such as pressure, displacement and force. In this paper an improved switched capacitor signal-conditioning circuit for these kind of sensors is proposed, which can provide a linear output voltage proportional to variations in capacitances of the sensors (possessing either linear or inverse characteristics). Results of executed simulations approve the linearity of input-output relation and ability of the circuit to provide discriminated values for different states of the sensor.
