Abstract
Multi-tenant business support system (BSS) is a form of Software as a Service, which can provide business support services for service carriers at a low cost by leveraging economy of scale. In this paper, we present the architecture of multi-tenant BSS and discuss briefly the approach to achieve configurability, security and scalability of the architecture. Focusing on scalability of data, we propose the entity group-based horizontal partitioning by analyzing entity relationships in the system. Experimental results show that the approach improves the performance.
