Abstract :
Generally speaking, a large number of point-cloud data will be generated in the process of collecting 3D structure information of large building using the 3D LIDAR technology. Based on analyzing raw files content and form 3D laser scanning point-cloud data is reorganized and a storage mean of large-scale point-cloud data which is by data stream means is presented in this paper. The data is stored in Oracle 11g database in the SecureFile (BLOB) form. ODP.NET is selected as the database access interface, C# as experimental programming language. Database design model and stored procedure of large-scale 3D laser scanning point-cloud data is introduced. The study gives a new idea and research direction for applications and developments based on large-scale 3D laser scanning data.
