Abstract :
It is always a hot spot for researchers that how to improve the ECT system data acquisition speed aim to meet the real-time requirement of high-speed industry processes. Key issues in designing high-speed hardware (small capacitance measurement module, data acquisition control module and communication module) of electrical capacitance tomography system are analyzed and research results at present are discussed. This paper presented Two capacitance measuring circuits (AC based and active differential), which is suitable for rapidly ECT imaging and can achieve over 1000 frame per second. The real time performances of these circuits are analyzed. Taking the industrial application into account high speed wireless communications technology, optical fiber communication technology can resolve communication distance and the issue of speed in ECT system.
