Abstract :
The present work concerns the effect of adding nano sintering aids on microstructure, densification and electrical properties of KNN piezoceramics. Lead free (K0.5Na0.5) NbO3 (KNN) + x mol % nano ZnO have been prepared by conventional mixed oxide method. A single phase perovskite crystal structure obtained for all compositions. Our results reveal that a small amount of nano ZnO can improve the densification and electrical properties of KNN ceramics.
