Abstract :
This paper analyses the producing mechanism of surge at protection equipment´s ports, surge test of high level is done for signal ports, communication ports and power ports of specific protection equipment sample. Evaluation is accomplished for the methods of limiting voltage value, connecting ground and isolation, advice is given about protection of electronic devices in equipment and protection action to implement in the end of the paper.
