Abstract :
Hydrogen sulfide is a kind of toxic and harmful gas and will be harmful to respiratory system of people if exhaust it directly. There are a lot of desulfurization methods so far, and the desulfurization by activated carbon is a kind of better method. But the waste activated carbon needs regenerate. The desulfurization efficiency of regenerated waste carbon is studied in this paper. The results indicate that the desulfurization efficiency of ACF regenerated secondly by water is lower than this regenerated firstly by water, the regenerated capacity of ACF is prior to the granular activated carbon and the higher the packing height of regenerated ACF is, the better the desulfurization capacity of regenerated ACF. Meanwhile, the desulphurization mechanism is analyzed briefly in this paper.
