Abstract :
The major factors affecting the passenger flow assignment in the urban rail transit network are analyzed and a generalized fare function is built in this paper. A logit-based model is built to simulate passenger flow route assignment after a whole rail network station-to-station OD matrix is estimated from IC card data. A case study is conducted based on the real survey data. The result demonstrates that the model and algorithm to solve the problem of passenger volume estimation are practicable.
