Abstract :
Stimulated Raman Scattering crosstalk in intensity modulated WDM system is analyzed, including an exact probability density function (pdf) of the power depletion. Bit error rate due to SRS crosstalk in a WDM receiver have been calculated and the effects of the channel number (N) and the receiver noise have been studied. The choise of detection threshold for the improved performance of the receiver has also been indicated.
