Abstract :
A new method for the electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) test of army equipment is firstly introduced, then an E3 test system is brought forward. The essence of the system is to develop a new software on the basis of the WRAP, and design a group of programmable emitters. With the software, the complex electromagnetic environment (EME) can be calculated according to certain battle scenario. The calculated result is used to control a group of emitters to generate the EME expected by the E3 test of army equipment. With this system some of the performance of army equipment can be evaluated upon the condition of complex EME.
