Abstract
This paper discusses the vertical accuracy assessment of a high resolution digital elevation model and associated orthorectified radar imagery Apogee and Intermap Technologies are collecting in the Murray-Darling Basin region of Australia. This dataset will form the geospatial foundation upon which further remote sensing and field survey information resides forming a single uniform dataset which is consistent over large areas. A new highly accurate geoid will also be generated to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data.
