Abstract :
This paper presents a discrete interferometric model of random media. The forest is modeled by characterizing tree trunks, branches and leaves with randomly oriented, lossy dielectric particles whose area and orientation in a layer of random medium are prescribed. The model result is compared to the theoretical result in the literature and good agreement is found.
